Before we get to the greater lakes in the next plus extension, we set our curiosities loose on Michigan where the official state motto is "Si Quaeris Peninsulam Amoenam Circumspice," which is Latin for - “If you seek a pleasant peninsula, look about you". Just look out for the freakishly large-headed feral kids tramping about the woods of this beautiful state.

There could be much more added to one of the most elaborate state seals in existence, for it lacks one of the most important features that the landmass boasts, that of its freaky woo woo. The pleasant peninsulas are potentially populated with Melon Heads, Bigfoot, Dogmen, Mothmen, Lake Monsters, Massive Green Squirrels, and many more malicious meddlers.
